Proud Family
Our first episode of 2021! Also, our first episode about an animated series. We jump into the proud family and discuss their family dynamics as well as individual characters. Rap snacks should make a proud snack line too.

This was a really interesting subject to listen to. I watched The Proud Family a lot growing up, and not only did this bring back memories, it also gave a lot of insight on the themes that went over my head as a kid. For example, a lot of the moments where Oscar‘s mama gave him grief we‘re played up for laughs, and I just laughed along. But now you‘ve given me the context to think a little harder about what goes on behind the laugh tracks. It puts things in a different perspective.
